Blog #4
I went to a pond the other day and took a few photos. I
changed one of the features on the camera to sports and took a few photos of my
dog running towards me. Then I walked down to the pond and took a few photos of
the pond, but my nature photography skills could use a little work. I’m having
a little trouble on the time lapse. The time-lapse
isn’t looking to good because it’s hard to take a picture in the exact same
spot every day. And it is very hard to
take a photo everyday because I don’t always get home when the suns out and I’m
not there. I may just get a tripod and record the sunset go down for about
thirty minutes. And then reduce the minutes to seconds and make a thirty second
time-lapse that way. Although that just really seems unoriginal because it has
been done so many times. I may go to Alex City this weekend and I can take the
camera with me and maybe find a few streams or maybe even go to Lake Martin.

Ok so I haven’t taken a lot of photos this week because I’ve
been quite sick. I plan on uploading some photo leftovers from when it snowed
that I have. It’s been so cold out lately that I haven’t been able to take any
photos because I have bronchitis and sinusitis. I plan on taking twice as many
photos this week but I might go somewhere to take some because I’m running out
of places to take them at my house. I’m going to get my drivers permit Monday
so I might end up staying out the whole day that day and if I do I can go take
some somewhere. Plus it’s been so cold that I haven’t seen many birds or squirrels
outside of my house. I’ve been learning about the different features of my
camera so I might be able to take some cooler and higher resolution photos.
Maybe get one of like a bird in flight or something.

I took a few photos yesterday, and I switched out lenses on the camera which helped out a lot! I can take many more photos now. When I used to take them it would be a pain because the lens was so zoomed. I wish I could've learned this sooner but hey, you learn as you go. I plan on editing a few of the photos. I got one of an old warehouse type thing behind my house which I think will look quite nice with a black and white effect on it. I got one of my cat. His name is Paul (I thought it was funny to name him this) he is solid black with olive green eyes and he is very stuck up. I tried to get him and my dog to take a picture beside each other but my poor dog doesn't understand the concept of sitting still to take a picture. He's a Yorkie by the way.
